This is located at Administration → Settings → Checkout Settings
When someone places an ad, the 'User Checkout Settings' page defines what fields are used, what fields are required, whether admin is notified, etc.
- Notification when ads are placed
- Choose 'Yes' if you would like to receive an email when an ad is placed.
- Manually Approve Ads
- Choose 'Yes' if you would like to review and approve the ad prior to it being displayed on your site.
- When a user modifies their ad should the status change?
- After an ad has been placed, the ad's owner could log into user administration and modify the text of the ad. It's possible that the changes may include inappropriate images or wording. If you would like to manually approve changes to an ad, then choose 'Yes' here.
- Allow Price Field
- Choose 'Yes' if you would like the member to be able to specify a price for his/her ad's item.
- Display Short Description Field
- An ad's short description shows up in the search results list when a search is performed. If you do not want the ad's short description showing up in the search results page, choose 'No' here so that the user cannot submit a short description.
- Display Description Field
- An ad's description shows up in the ad's details page.
- Require Price
- If you would like to force the member to include a price in their ad, choose 'Yes' here.
- Require Short Description
- If you have 'Yes' in the 'Display Short Description' drop-down field, you can force the member to include a short description by choosing 'Yes' here.
- Require Description
- If you have 'Yes' in the 'Display Description' drop-down field, you can force the member to include a short description by choosing 'Yes' here.
- Allow Renewal
- If you would like users to be able to renew their listings.
- Renewal Days
- The number of days before the listing expires that you want them to be notified. This only works if allow renewal is set to yes.
- Allowed HTML Tags
- In the textarea you can enter any html tags you would like users to use in their messages. All other html tags will be stripped out besides the ones entered here.
